Welcome to my web portfolio. What you'll find here are websites that I have designed, developed, project managed or maintain.
While building websites I always like to keep them simple, with usability and accessibility at the forefront. I believe all sites should be easy to navigate, cross browser compatible and quick to load.
Nutrition and Health Clinic

The Nutrition and Health Clinic is a Nutritional Therapy and Weight Loss Clinic based in Ruislip, West London.
They provide clients with professional nutritional and weight loss advice, food and health screening.
The clinic also conduct nutritional seminars on a range of topics such and improving mood and stress, childhood nutrition and weight loss.
I designed and built the site and have began the process of optimising it for key search terms.
T.J.E Lift Services
T.J.E Lift Services supply, install and maintain stairlifts in London, Kent, Essex and Sussex. This simple but attractive website gives them a presence on the web.
I designed and developed the site and the company logo. The site is accessible and uses the hCard microformat.
MyHolidaySun.co.uk
Still in its early stages MyHolidaySun.co.uk is aimed squarely at the British holidaymaker, providing an all-round service where holidays, flights, accommodation, travel insurance and car hire can be bought all from one site. You can also read reviews of Holidaymakers' experiences of the places you plan to visit.
I developed this site after using similar sites while trying to find information about a resort earlier this year. It is built using PHP and MySQL, with htaccess to rewrite the URL's for search engine friendly pages.
The Chief Executive Officer
The Chief Executive Officer website was created based on the framework developed for the existing SPG Media web products, although the website's main function was to give the print publication an online presence and involved repurposing magazine content on the website.

The SPG Media Technology sites are aimed at professionals mainly within the engineering and manufacturing industries; there are over 30 sites in total. These sites have an extensive ASP content management system which uses MS SQL Server which I help administer. In 2004 the sites were redesigned and completely recoded and now meet the W3C Accessibility and XHTML 1.0 guidelines. I was heavily involved in this process from initial design meetings through to coding the pages.
Debrett's
In 2002 I developed the new Debrett's website, database and content management system. I am responsible for the maintenance and continual development of the site. Major parts of the site include the shopping basket and subscriber log-in area. <This site has since changed>

Since completing my CCNA I've realised how useful it is to test your knowledge as you learn, over the last year or so I've been setting these sites up to help others get certified.
World Pharmaceutical Developments
World Pharmaceutical Developments is an SPG Media publication; this is the website that helps advertise the publication on the web. I designed and developed this site in 2000 to bring a fresher and livelier appearance to the existing site. <This site has since changed>
European Council of American Chambers of Commerce
I designed this mini site especially on behalf of the European Council of American Chambers of Commerce in order to give the organisation a presence on the web. <This site has since changed>
Cisco Threaded Case Study
During the later stages of my Cisco CCNA course in 2002 one of our projects was to design a school network and to document it all using web pages. This is the site I designed and created to show off our team's work.
Next Generation Utilities

Next Generation Utilities was a Cornhill Publications publication; this was the title's publication website. It was used as a tool within the industry. I designed and developed this site around the branding of the paper publication. <This site is no longer online>
Hospital Management
The Hospital Management website was my first project at SPG Media; it has since grown to become the home of three medical print publications as well as being a product in its own right.
