Hosts file and loopback address
Seemed to have found a solution to the problem i posted earlier. After configuring 127.0.0.1 in IIS as the website IP connecting my hub IE seems to work offline. It still prompts to connect but clicking ok works. IE seems to ignore the hosts file whereas Netscape doesn't.

Local host browsing with IE and Windows 2000
This has been bugging me for a while. I use Windows 2000 to develop on. Using the machine as a server. The only problem is that to browse local pages IE needs to be connected to the internet. Netscape is fine. If you have a solution please email me.
